The Outback
Our largest open-air area is the Outback. This is where our CPS cats/kittens go once they are spay / neutered, rabies vaccinated and tested for FIV/FeLuk. This area is home to 300 +/- cats of all different shapes, colors, breeds and sizes. With a double size indoor and outdoor-screened area in this room, it is filled with many loving cats hoping for a lap to lay in or a person to throw a ping pong ball or catnip toy. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted by sweet, furry faces looking for any attention and love that they can get - if you really want to get their attention, bring in a bag of treats!
There are holding areas in The Outback for cats new to this room so they can transition gradually into being with their new 300+ roommates.
